What is the SearchSaver?
SearchSaver
is a nifty little tool tha lets you save search results in XML or PDF. For example you could do a quick
literature review, gather the interesting hits, save them as pdf and share the results with anyone.
It also works like a metacrawler. You can search as many search engines as you can configure.
However, you can only configure search engines that return their results as RSS or ATOM.
Results can also be spidered. So for example say you searched for Bush White House and you got ten hits back. If any of those hits contain embedded feeds, those feeds are also searched for Bush White House.
In this way you can quickly build up a set of feeds that interest you or are related.
